The book focuses exclusively on modern four-stroke engines that use gasoline as fuel, i.e. carburetors are not covered in the pages of the book. It deals with engine intake air flow, cylinder head and valves, compression ratio and fuel, camshafts, valve mechanism, fuel injection and anti-pollution equipment, ignition equipment, engine control system, exhaust pipe system, lower engine floor, lubrication system, cooling system and dynamometer measurements.
