Veteran mopeds

Just a few decades ago, hundreds of thousands of Finns used mopeds for their work trips, holiday trips, shopping, visiting relatives and going to school. A mopedist could be a vicar, social secretary, club instructor, teacher or fire inspector. Most of the mail received by Finns traveled at least part of the way on a moped. At the end of the 1960s, there were maybe 350,000 mopeds at the most. Already in the early 60s, mopeds were a guaranteed visible factor in traffic, there were even more mopeds in use than cars.

This basic work of the veteran moped hobby presents the moped equipment of that classic period, the veteran mopeds. Later, mopeds without pedals, sports or so-called slipper models are not included in the review. The book offers versatile help in renovating and restoring mopeds, acquiring parts and information, and in the rapidly growing hobby of mopeds in general.
